We are delighted to announce our first event for 2026 – and we could not be more excited.
On April 14 we will be hosting an audience with John U. Bacon, author of the New York Times bestseller Gales of November: The Untold Story of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
A renowned author of 14 books, John is a wonderful speaker.
This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to learn how he came to write the definitive account of one of the most famous incidents in US maritime history. In recreating the loss of the Mighty Fitz and all 29 souls on board, John has spoken to families, friends, and former crewmates of those lost and carried out more than 100 interviews.
We are also delighted to be joined by Tom Wiater, President of Central Marine Logistics, who will be in conversation with John.
With free food and drink to accompany this evening, it promises to be a truly memorable occasion.
